Quickies: Quick Way to Stretch Shrunken Hair

Hi Guys!

So as you can see I started a new category called Quickies! I know just like me to fall into to ultra, fast-moving world we live in where every thing has to happen right this instant! Some times it’s just easier for me to post a quick tip or trick or useful idea and that’s pretty much what this category would be dedicated to. I also welcome you quick tips and tricks as well.

Today’s quick tip is a how to on stretching shrunken hair. If you suffer from super, duper shrunken hair after a shampoo or cowashing this will help. The only time my hair doesn’t completely shrink up is when I wash with Terressential Mudwash but otherwise it will shrink up to twice its normal length. To combat this you can either band your hair in sections with elastic bands from root to tip over night or you can simply plait your hair into two large braids on either side of your head. I’m talking the old school two giant braids some of us used to get. My mom was notorious for putting my hair in two braids after a washing and it would last for a week after my hair had been conditioned and my scalp greased. Anyway, two plaits each night will not only unshrink your hair but will add volume. So that’s it’s for today’s quickie!
